Enabling Every Child To Reach Their Full Potential

Teaching the National Curriculum is a requirement for all state schools.  However, there is considerable flexibility about the balance of content and the methods used to teach this.  We bring an emphasis on music and art and the humanities (all children learn a musical instrument in Key Stage Two) together with high expectations of achievement in English, Maths and Science.  This broad curriculum, which is founded on enquiry and active learning, gives us our distinctive character and promotes our high and rising academic standards.
