Friends of Barford

The Friends of Barford School are an enthusiastic team made up of parents, grandparents and guardians, and are a registered charity (charity number 1044206).

Our purpose is to provide the pupils of this delightful, village school with those ‘little extras’  and to organise social events for the children, parents and the whole family.

We are proud of our efforts, the teamwork and results the Friends of Barford School have achieved.  In the past, the children have enjoyed author visits, new playground equipment, new books, coach travel and educational trips, stationery and energy conversion projects which are still ongoing to achieve a ‘greener’ school for the future.

We are a thriving committee with a fun-loving attitude to all our tasks – after all we’re fundraising for the children!  We normally meet in the local pub which provides a relaxed, unobtrusive feel to what could be perceived as a ‘starchy’ formal event.

If you would like to find out more or become involved with fundraising for Barford Primary School, we are always happy to accept new recruits.
You do not have to take up a post; just be part of the team – the more the merrier!

Please feel free to speak to one of the committee members on the playground or call the school office on 01603 759660 for the date of the next meeting and simply come along! Alternatively, please email BarfordFOBS@outlook.com
